The Pink Project

Thursday, October 4th 2018
6PM - 8PM

Exhibition runs October 1st - November 4th

One River School of Art + Design is thrilled to collaborate with the The Westchester Mall to showcase the artworks from our Teen Art Shuffle students from our Larchmont and Hartsdale, NY locations.
Students will create paintings in support of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness month. Students learnt about the concepts of strength and courage to drive their subject matters for this project. They created a painting with a specific purpose and theme and explored how to evoke feelings through a painting. Using emotion as a source, these artists will learn about, and use symbolism and imagery within their paintings.
The event will also be a fundraiser for Bright Pink.
